I've been thinking about my Spring color palette. Quite a while ago, I came across these images by John Rawlings who was a Vogue fashion photographer from the 1930's through to the 1960's. I absolutely love these photographs! Just looking at them gives me the feeling of the warm and relaxing sensation of the sun on my skin. To me these photos are also the perfect inspiration for my Spring 2012 color palette. By pulling the colors from the photographs, I came up with this palette which seems oddly warm and cool at the same time, don't you think?
Did you happen to notice that a version of "tangerine tango", Pantone's color of the year, showed up in the palette? Interesting.
