We've done it! We finally made the move to our new city on Vancouver Island! I am so pleased to be here and relieved that all of our possessions arrived without incident-albeit a little later than expected, but no worse for wear. This is a peek at the view from our front entrance:
Last night was the first night in our new place and in our own bed. What a relief after 4 nights in a less than luxurious hotel. I slept very soundly and after spending most of the day organizing the main areas of the house, I think I am ready to tackle this:

Oh gosh, what a mess! So much organizing and painting to do, but I am so excited to get started so I can get back to doing what I love doing-pattern making! I'll be posting a photo of the finished room on facebook when it's all done so check the In-House Patterns page for the final reveal!
